About Us

Here at Vara Psychology, we believe therapy should feel like a safe return home, calm, welcoming, and grounded in trust. Our approach is collaborative and client-centred, built on the quiet agreement that healing and growth happen when you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

With specialised training in evidence-based treatments for trauma and PTSD, particularly within military contexts, and over five years of direct work alongside veterans and their families, our principal psychologist, Josh, brings not only professional expertise but also a genuine respect for military culture and an understanding of the unique challenges it brings.

As a registered Department of Veterans’ Affairs provider, we’re able to support eligible veterans through DVA funding pathways.

If you’d like to take the next step, please reach out, we would be glad to walk alongside you on your journey.
